Dexter, the premier supplier and manufacturer of axles, doors, venting products and related components in the utility trailer, boat trailer, recreational vehicle, heavy duty and manufactured housing markets, has an opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer at our Ventline / Dexter Door operation in Bristol, IN - conveniently located near Elkhart, IN, Goshen, IN, Mishawaka, IN, and South Bend, IN Three Rivers, MI, Cassopolis, MI, Dowagiac, MI, and Niles, MI.

Position Summary

Responsibilities include maintaining, improving, and/or upgrading current manufacturing processes.  Designing and developing new manufacturing processes and managing a wide variety of projects.  This position will participate in the integration of automation and robotics into the manufacturing processes.

 

Requirements

This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a comparable discipline and at least three (3) years related experience; and/or the equivalent in combination of education and experience.  Candidate must be a team member, goal oriented, dependable; self-motivated, and have strong leadership skills.  Computer skills will be a must for this position.
