Position Summary

Performing the shipping and receiving functions using accuracy.

Using shipping and receiving standards at all times, in a safe and efficient manner.                                                         

Driving electric or propane powered  forklifts. 

Loading and unloading trucks. 

Taking and putting material into racks and rows. 

Picking parts. 

Lifting up to 50 lbs. 

Moving material from warehouse to truck and truck to warehouse. 

Using computer to produce reports for receiving and for shipping and producing barcode labels. 

Using hand held scanners to scan material into and out of locations and when loading trucks.

 

 

 

Requirements

Qualified candidates must be self-motivated and have the ability to work without constant supervision.

Must have a good safety record, possess a high degree of quality workmanship and be detail oriented.

Must have computer skills for data entry.

Forklift experience preferred.
