Position Summary

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Electrical Technician will work alongside maintenance under the technical guidance of the facilities Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineers. Duties will include technical support of manufacturing equipment, new equipment installs and debugging, facility projects, as well as other duties involving, but not limited to machine systems, controls, logic, and programming. The position will also help to train and develop Maintenance Technicians.


Position requires an Associate’s Degree and at least 5 years of electrical maintenance experience, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience. Candidates should have experience with a variety of manufacturing machine systems and controls, including excellent troubleshooting capabilities. Candidates must be capable of working in a fast paced manufacturing environment, have high degree of workmanship, be detail oriented, have very good safety and attendance history, be self-motivated, have good communication skills, as well as solid computer skills for reporting, charting, etc. Candidates must also be able to read work instructions and other work documents provided in English; must be able to write production and quality information in English; must understand verbal instruction provided in English; and must speak basic English.
