Rockwell American, a Dexter company, the premier supplier and manufacturer of axles, doors, venting products and related components in the utility trailer, boat trailer, recreational vehicle, heavy duty and manufactured housing markets, has an opportunity for a Receptionist/HR Assistant at our company headquarters in Azle, TX - conveniently located north of Fort Worth, TX area.

Position Summary

The Receptionist/HR Assistant serves as the company’s first official representative to the public, supplies information regarding the organization to the general public, clients and customers, attends to visitors, deals with inquiries on the phone and face-to-face, and assists the human resources department.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operates multiline telephone system to answer incoming calls, directs callers to appropriate personnel or department, and provides callers with information as requested.
  • Welcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel.
  • Provides clerical support to the Sr. Manager of Human Resources. 
  • Generates reports and update database for the human resources department.
  • Maintains stock of HR department supplies and literature. 
  • Maintains files, office supply inventory, and conference room/seminar/training requests.
  • Plans and coordinates employee events at headquarters; provides assistance with training workshops/seminars, providing food and clean up when able.
  • Operates office machines as required.
  • Prepares outgoing mail; sorts and distributes incoming mail.
  • Duplicates and distributes materials.
  • Performs other tasks or duties as assigned.

Requirements

Requires High School Diploma or GED and at least 2 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Desires experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), HR Information System, preferably ADP.
