Rockwell American, a Dexter company, the premier supplier and manufacturer of axles, doors, venting products and related components in the utility trailer, boat trailer, recreational vehicle, heavy duty and manufactured housing markets, has an opportunity for a Production Scheduler at our Royse City, TX facility - conveniently located near Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) area.

Position Summary

The Production Scheduler reports directly to Materials Manager and is responsible for master planning and inventory, which includes finished goods (FG), work in process (WIP), and raw material (RAW) plans. 

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to daily and weekly production schedules to meet demand and capacity planning stock plan.
  • Monitor customer orders for on time delivery.
  • Monitor inventory of FG and raw materials to maintain required amounts to support production needs and avoid excess.
  • Review long-range production forecasts and provide input to Materials Manager and Plant Manager regarding raw material/part orders and capacity/staffing plan to ensure production goals can be met.
  • Participate in physical inventory.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Requires Associate’s Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and 4 years specific experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  APICS or related certification highly desirable.
