Rockwell American, a Dexter company, the premier supplier and manufacturer of axles, doors, venting products and related components in the utility trailer, boat trailer, recreational vehicle, heavy duty and manufactured housing markets, has an opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineering Technician at our Seagoville, TX facility - conveniently located in the Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) area. The plant encompasses 78,000 square feet and has approximately 90 non-union employees operating on two shifts.

The Manufacturing Engineering Technician reports directly to the Plant Manager at Rockwell American’s Leaf Spring Manufacturing plant in Seagoville, TX. The Manufacturing Engineering Technician will develop tools, implement designs, and integrate machinery or equipment to ensure effective manufacturing processes.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Requires Associate’s Degree in Engineering, or a comparable discipline and at least 2 years related experience in heavy metal fabrication (i.e. heat treating, cutting, welding forming of steel); or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
