The duties of a MIG Welder include the gathering of materials by deciphering blueprints and shop drawings, using proper material identification, and processing materials.
Candidates should be familiar with automated welding and gauging. The ability to distinguish weld quality is a plus. Qualified candidates must be self-motivated and have the ability to work without constant supervision. The position also requires a proficiency in the proper layout and fitting of job components.
Must possess a good attendance history, have a good safety record, possess a high degree of quality workmanship and be detail oriented. Candidates must be able to stand for long periods of time.
