    Position Summary

    Reporting to the Plant General Manager, the Continuous Improvement/Quality Manager will be responsible for ISO 9001 Quality System and Dexter Operating Systems (DOS) . Specific responsibilities include:

    • Ensure that processes needed for quality system are established, implemented, and maintained.
    • Direct personnel efforts in process control, incoming inspection, gage calibration, document control, internal auditing, training, SPC analysis, customer feedback, and corrective actions.
    • Facilitate the plant's Continuous Improvement Program.
    • Schedule and chair quality meetings.
    • Perform regular process audits.
    • Develop and implement required quality documents.
    • Other duties as assigned by management.

    Requirements

     

    This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or a comparable discipline and at least 5+ years related manufacturing, Quality experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. ISO 9001, Also must have at least 5 year's lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience. Candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
