The primary responsibilities of the Production Supervisor include directing the activities of assigned manufacturing department. The Production Supervisor is responsible for assuring the production schedules are met, while maintaining performance to established quality and safety standards. A Production Supervisor plans work, makes assignments, trains new employees, promotes employee participation in problem solving and consistently demonstrates support for company procedures and polices.
This position will require an Associates Degree in Business or a comparable discipline and at least 3years work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidate should have strong communication skills, including the ability to produce clear written instructions and other business documents. Computer literacy, assertiveness, creativity, and leadership skills are required for a successful job performance. Candidate must be a self-starter and be both willing and capable of handling employee and production issues.
