    Position Summary

    This position has ownership of the training process including, but not limited to, documentation, formulation, and delivery of training for the campus.  This position focuses on safety training including forklift, lock out tag out, crane, arc flash, elevated work platform, confined spaces, hot work permits, and confined space permits, and new hire employee orientations. 



    • Document, enter, and maintain the Compliance Suite training database, Link 360 Management database, and records for all plant wide training including safety certifications
    • Monitor and verify all certifications are current and advise employees of recertification requirements; print daily report on lapse in employee certifications
    • Identify facility training needs and develop an annual training plan. Design, develop, and/or acquire training programs to be implemented within the facility
    • Design, implement, measure, and improve on-the-job training, knowledge, skills, and abilities, and demonstrated ability criteria
    • Facilitate new employee orientations
    • Organize and develop partnerships with outside training agencies; ownership of the Dexter skilled trades training program
    • Monitor the progress and performance of those involved in the training programs
    • Book and prepare training classrooms
    • Act as a point-of-contact for participants
    • Submit reports on training activities and results as required


    • Proven experience as a Training Administrator, Human Resources Assistant, Educator, or similar role
    • Bachelor’s degree in education, organizational leadership, communications, or a related discipline and a minimum of 3 years of experience. An equivalent in combination of education and experience will be considered.  
    • Proficient in MS Office; working knowledge of databases
    • Excellent data entry and typing skills
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking ability
    • Professional communication skills, both written and oral
    • Strong attention to detail
