    Position Summary

    Supervises shipping, receiving and fleet/trucking employees and activities. Facilitate on-time and accurate fulfillment of customer orders, maintaining proper staffing levels to maximize utilization and efficiency while minimizing overtime. Completes all DOT/Fleet scheduling and DOT requirements/reporting as well as ensures compliance of all company quality, safety, and housekeeping standards.

    Requirements

    Position requires an Associate's Degree in Business or related discipline and 3-5 years supervisory/fleet experience in a lean manufacturing environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong communication skills required, including the ability to produce clear written instructions and other business documents. Must be computer literate, have the ability to effectively supervise others with a coaching leadership style as well as be willing and able to handle employee and customer problems in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work flexible work schedule to meet customer demands.
