    Position Summary

    Documents and understands SIOP component requirements by manufacturing plant, commodity and customer. Document demonstrated capacity for components and finished goods by manufacturing plant and product line. Creates a macro document that can demonstrate flex requirements in demand from customers or product mix by customer and by manufacturing plant.

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Determines most efficient and economical routing of finished goods based on geographical region.
    • Engages with all levels of operations to determine fluctuations in capacity and anticipates the mix changes of seasons, new customers and customer willingness for changes to product lines.
    • Assists with AOP, SIOP and monthly flash forecast to align demand with capacity for 99% delivery performance.
    • Understands takt time, lean manufacturing and master data lead time planning.
    • Super user of ERP system and deploys a play book for managing supply of finished goods from the manufacturing plants to actual demonstrated capacity.
    • Establishs cadence of reviews for assumptions to established capacity vs actual, recommendations and counter measures.
    • Implements MMOG (Materials Management Operational Guidelines) in manufacturing facilities.
    • Identifies constraints with consistent improvements that are counter measures directed with the manufacturing plant for permanent corrective action.
    • Performs other tasks or duties as assigned.

    Up to 50% overnight travel required.

    Requirements

    Requires Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or a comparable discipline and at least 2 years related experience; or an equivalent in combination of education and experience. Strong working knowledge in MMOG, lean manufacturing, six sigma, and industrial manufacturing.
