    Position Summary

    Reporting to the Vice President of Engineering, the Administrative Assistant provides support to the Engineering department including:

    • Tracking, filing and reporting of Product Liability Litigation and Intellectual Property (IP)
    • Preparing Non-Disclosure Agreements
    • Distributing incoming departmental mail and correspondence
    • Providing clerical support to Engineering staff
    • Maintaining department calendar
    • Maintaining departmental filing system
    • Coordinating departmental meetings and lunches
    • Ordering and maintaining departmental supplies and equipment
    • Ordering departmental publications as well as R&D items and equipment
    • Processing First Articles (FAIRs), Lab Test Reports (LTRs), Requests for Engineering Services (RES) and Warranty Claims
    • Preparing expense reports for departmental expenditures
    • Providing back-up support to switchboard/receptionist
    • Other duties as assigned

    Requirements

    Position requires a High School Diploma and at least 2 years of administrative experience working in an Engineering department. Paralegal experience is preferred. Must be proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint). Must have demonstrated success in advanced financial modeling and analysis. Qualified candidates will be highly organized, detail oriented and able to multi-task.
