    Position Summary

    The Quality Control Manager will be responsible for managing the plant quality department SPC tracking and provide continuous improvement of the quality assurance policy. 

     

    Duties include:

    • Maintaining and developing quality and training programs that adhere to division and plant guidelines.
    • Ensuring compliance of all Dexter Axle's quality system requirements including training, SPC, corrective actions, warranty, and customer compliant activities. 
    • Supporting the development and deployment of the Dexter Operating System (DOS).
    • Ensuring quality procedures are followed and achieving 100% on time delivery and customer satisfaction.
    • Directly supervises Quality Technician associates.
    • Performing other tasks, duties or special projects as directed.

    Requirements

    Candidate must have experience with SPC, calibration, continuous improvement, quality systems, ISO, QS and TS quality systems. Candidate must be a team player, goal oriented, dependable; self-motivated, and have strong leadership skills.  Computer skills will be a must for this position. Position requires an Associate’s degree and at least 6 years related experience; or and equivalent combination of education and experience.
