The Production Supervisor is responsible for assuring that production schedules are met, while maintaining performance to established quality and safety standards. A Production Supervisor plans work, makes assignments, trains new employees, promotes employee participation in problem solving, and consistently demonstrates support for company procedures and policies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Accomplishing manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all equipment and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures, and participating in plant safety, health and environmental programs.
Ensuring quality procedures are followed and achieving 100% on time delivery and customer satisfaction.
Performing other tasks, duties or special projects as directed
Position requires 3 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong communication skills, including the ability to produce clear written instructions and other business documents.
Computer literacy, assertiveness, creativity, and leadership skills are required for successful job performance.
Bachelor’s degree in operations management, supervision, or related fields preferred.
Must be bilingual-Spanish.
