Position Summary

This role is accountable for designing automations that are intended to improve business processes.  Will be expected to work alongside internal and external partners to meet improvement expectations while aligning with the technology standards of the organization.  This role will be expected lead a small team that administers the automation environments and does small developments as needed.

More specifically, this position will be responsible for activities including but not limited to the following:

 

Design Solutions for Automating Business Processes

  • Build solution designs in cooperation with Business Process Improvement Analysts, Internal IT staff and External Development teams
  • Leverage all available technologies, primarily native API’s, RPA technologies and Microsoft technologies to formulate appropriate solution
  • Will also be forward looking to ensure the organization is leveraging the appropriate tools and techniques to meet automation goals

 Leadership

  • Lead small team of Administrators and developers, working in cooperation with external development partners
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to the team
  • Mentor and develop team for new automation avenues
  • Lead the team towards the efficient administration of all automation environment
  • Work effectively with internal and external customers/partners
  • Ability to work in cross functional/technology domains
  • Lead an internal team of automation developers through the deployment life cycle

Requirements

Qualifications:

Education Level: Bachelors Preffered 

 

Knowledge & Expereince:

  • Years of experience: 15+ years of experience in infrastructure, Application Operations.
  • Min 5 years of experience in IT Automation covering a few of the areas like Data Center, Network, End user, Application Support, Application development etc.
  • Hands on experience in Configuration management automation
  • Should be well versed with Automation tools architecture, high level and low-level design
  • Experience with developing solution architecture and conceptual and logical system design for large–scale programs and projects
  • Extensive experience in developing web service clients and providers for RESTful implementation
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and/or any RDBMS
  • Basic knowledge of build/deployment automation and continuous integration
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform including PowerBI, PowerAutomate or Microsoft Forms a plus
  • Experience with RPA Platforms a plus (i.e. UIPath)
  • Experience developing with one or more of the following: js, php, python, v8js, .NET
  • Experience with supporting different software development methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile
  • Experience in handling multiple customers/domains
  • Ability to work in cross functional/technology domains
