Overview

Dexter, the premier supplier and manufacturer of axles, doors, venting products and related components in the utility trailer, boat trailer, recreational vehicle, heavy duty and manufactured housing markets, has an opportunity for an OTR Driver domiciling out of our Fremont, IN facility which is conveniently located near Angola, IN, Auburn, IN, Fort Wayne, IN, Middlebury, IN, Elkhart, IN; and Goshen, IN.

Position Summary

  • Steady business with dedicated, year-round runs
  • Regular schedule with average home time of 2-3 times per week
  • Average of 3000-3500 miles per week at $.55/mile with additional compensation per stop and non-driving hours
  • Well-maintained, above average fleet of flatbed, sleeper tractors averaging less than 5 years old

Requirements

Candidates must have a good work and attendance history, a safety first attitude, good communication skills, and the flexibility to work various hours.  Must have a valid Class A CDL driver's license.
