Position Summary

Develops tools, implements designs, and integrates machinery or equipment to ensure effective manufacturing processes.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Inspects products and processes for flaws and identifies areas of improvement.
  • Utilizes prints to fabricate components which includes using several forms of metal chip forming processes, welding, and assembly.
  • Solves problems related to reducing production costs, planning workflows, and designing the layout of machinery within a factory.
  • Develops and tests solutions to solve technical problems in manufacturing.
  • Troubleshoots equipment, machinery and tooling at the manufacturing plants.
  • Assists engineers, inspects products, conducts tests, and collects data.
  • Procure equipment parts and MRO supplies.
  • Installs equipment at the manufacturing plants.
  • Performs other tasks or duties as assigned.

Requirements

Requires Associate’s Degree in Engineering, or a comparable discipline and at least 2 years related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
