Overview

Dexter, the premier supplier and manufacturer of axles, doors, venting products and related components in the utility trailer, boat trailer, recreational vehicle, heavy duty and manufactured housing markets, has an opportunity for an Assembler at our Marine Axle manufacturing facility located in Atlanta, Ga.

Position Summary

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Qualified candidates must be self-motivated and be able to work without constant supervision.
  • Must possess a good attendance history.
  • Must have a good safety record, possess a high degree of quality workmanship and be detail oriented.
  • Must be proficient in understanding mechanical drawings.
  • Understand their role in assuring safety, quality, and on time delivery
  • Review quality documents as required.
  • Actively promote safety and ensure compliance with company policy
  • Process material according to the work order specifications; ensure that processing equipment is maintained in a safe and clean condition.
  • Must know how to use a tape measure and be able to read a technical drawing and follow work instructions. 
  • Candidates must have a good work and attendance history, a safety-first attitude, and possess good communication skills.

High school diploma/GED and Six months experience preferred
