Dexter Distribution Group is hiring an Assistant Branch Manager based in West Valley City, Utah. This is a key position which is focused on supporting day to day activities of branch operations. This includes Inventory Control, Customer Service relations and Employee Development.

• Support team in meeting set expectations, including customer service levels & inventory.
• Manage and nurture accounts and partnerships to accomplish profit and sales goals.
• Pro-actively identify and remain actively involved in critical situations that can impact operations and service to customers.
  Lead and sales and warehouse team to deliver unparalleled customer service.
• Support branch efforts to align with growth, profitability, security, regulatory compliance, and other operating objectives.
  Effectively communicate goals and objectives, along with detailed instruction when necessary.
• Promotes safety awareness, accident prevention and employee involvement regarding a safe work environment. Ensures employees understand the safety expectations of the organization.
• Supervisory responsibilities include employment decisions, disciplinary actions, writing and conducting performance evaluations, recognition, objective setting and associate development; planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred,
• Min of 3 years related experience leading others.
• Experience in trailer industry is a plus but not required.
