We are seeking candidates who reside in TX, OK, LA, MS, TN, AR, KS, MO or AL.

Position Summary

In this role, you will:

 

Maximize Sale Efficiency
  •Trains the sales team and customers on current products and introduces new products to the market.
  • Works closely with account managers to assist in obtaining new business.
  • Optimizes relationships with Strategic Accounts, by providing field sales support to the account managers through routine visits and representation as a director and subject matter expert.

Oversee Regional Pricing
   • Works cross-functionally to create and implement price files for designated territory to ensure competitive structured pricing in the market.
   • Collaborates with account managers to develop quotes and proposals for prospective customers.
   • Evaluates market price to assist with contract price negotiations, while holding value and creating consistency in the           territory.

Evaluate and provide solutions to capitalize on opportunities and respond to risks.
   • Drives intelligent pricing decisions based on market knowledge when facing pressure for price concessions.
   • Development and proposal of customer incentive programs to cross sell existing Dexter accounts where applicable to grow and maintain business.
   • Works closely with account managers in negotiation and finalization of the sale to support cross sell revenue growth.

Develop Sales Forecast
   • Documents revenue, product changes monthly for designated territory to assist in inventory demand through SIOP.
   • Drives and identify revenue targets for designated territory to create an overall view of business outlook.


Identify Sales Opportunities
   • Research market to identify prospective accounts to create continuous growth through cross functional selling.
   • Implement and act upon new target initiatives within territories by utilizing and assisting account managers

 

New Business Onboarding
   • Direct category onboarding by advising on cross functional service processes and determining best solution for customer.
   • Promotes new business onboard process, through proper channels.

Requirements

You will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3 years related experience or equivalent experience required or in leu of bachelor’s degree, at least 7 years of related experience.
  • Strong computer literacy (MS Office)
  • Trailer related industry experience preferred
  • Competitive Price Calculation Experience
  • Proven Negotiating Skills and Ability to Close New Business
