Overview

Position Summary

  • Ensures conformance to the Plant’s Site Safety Plan
  • Follow schedules & maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Receiving Inspection, Domestic and Import
  • Product and Process Audits
  • Operate a forklift & other equipment to stack and relocate material, pick orders, etc.
  • Checking inventory and executing product counts
  • Weighing and tagging products
  • Using a bar code scanner and a shrink wrapper
  • Loading/unloading trucks.
  • Data entry
  • Adheres to systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Must perform other duties as required.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent

1-5 years of experience working in a warehouse setting manufacturing, or in logistics.

1-5 years of experience in operating material handling equipment.

1-5 years of experience in dealing with vendors and carriers.

Must possess at least 1 year of forklift experience.

Must have strong computer skills (Microsoft Office) 

Must be able to work well as a team.

Ability to read/write and to follow instructions, and work independently with little guidance.

Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to bend and to lift heavy materials.

Ability to operate computers and relevant warehouse management computer software.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends.

Meet physical requirements which include maximum lifting to 60lbs, standing for long periods, bending, stooping, reaching, and squatting.

Strong attention to detail.
