Dexter, the premier supplier and manufacturer of axles, doors, venting products and related components in the utility trailer, boat trailer, recreational vehicle, heavy duty and manufactured housing markets, has an opportunity for an Mechanical Engineering - Manufacturing Intern at our multi-plant manufacturing facility located in Albion, Indiana and Elkhart, Indiana.

Position Summary

This posiition will be responsible for assisting assisting Manufacturing Engineers on daily production support, capital project completion, safety and ergonomic projects and enhanced quality systems.

 

  • May 2024 - August 2024, 40 hours/week, 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (Flexible hours available)
  • Fall Hours will be available to individuals who can work throughout the school year and have a successful summer

Requirements

  • Must be pursuring a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Technology,  or equivalent
  • Candidates must be able to read work instructions and other work documents provided in English; must be able to write production and quality information in English; must understand verbal instructions provided in English; and must speak basic English
