Overview

Dexter, a premier manufacturer and distributor of axles, suspension, brakes, doors, venting products, trailer parts and accessories, and towing components serving the commercial trailer, RV, heavy-duty, marine, agriculture, and manufactured housing markets, has an opportunity for a Customer Service Representative at our distribution facility located in Odessa, TX

 

We are open for business during normal daytime business hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We are closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Our Customer Service Representatives rarely ever work on weekends.

Position Summary

The role of a Customer Service Representative at Dexter is inside sales, making sales calls to customers, answering customer phone calls, answering customer questions, providing technical product information and assistance concerning pricing and shipping lead time, entering sales orders in the business automation system, processing customer warranty and/or return requests, and resolving customer complaints.

Requirements

We have an excellent career opportunity for a friendly, personable, outgoing, inside sales representative with a passion for excellent customer service and the drive to succeed. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a high school diploma, one or more years of related inside sales experience, and excellent computer and phone skills. Dexter provides on-the-job training including technical product training, business system training, and company policy and procedure training.
