Position Summary

Overview:

The Engineering, Maintenance, Reliability, and Automation Manager will Lead salaried employees with a common goal to improve the process & equipment reliability of current state, and plan for and execute for future operational goals and directives. The person chosen for this position will also be a key contributor to the Plant Leadership Team whose goals and objectives are to pursue higher levels of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Working Conditions to the employees of the facility.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·       Supporting a large multi-site Manufacturing Campus through Process Capabilities and Reliability

·       Leading the Technical support of all Safety initiatives

·       Leading the Technical support of Quality corrective actions and improvement projects

·       Supporting all business and campus objectives through KPI Metrics

·       Sustaining current capabilities of Engineering Department and develop for the future

·       Sustaining current capabilities of Maintenance Department and develop future capabilities and redundancies

·       Leading and Mentoring Engineers through the setting of clear objectives and expectations

·       Installing a performance orientated culture

·       Coaching and overseeing Project Managers to ensure on-budget, on-time, and accurately scoped capital projects

·       Providing Ownership and Guidance on Process Design and Technical Direction to Plant Leadership Team

·       Providing Ownership for research and implementation of Updated Technologies and Processes to support business strategies on Safety, Quality, Cost, and Efficiency

·       Developing Engineering Staff and sustains capabilities to support all campus needs

·       Developing and maintaining a long-term Preventative Maintenance Strategy to support campus uptime and reliability goals

·       Developing and maintaining a Maintenance Crib and Inventory system to support campus uptime and reliability goals

·       Ensuring that the department focuses on Safe, Efficient, and Responsive Production Support

·       Managing department spending on a monthly basis to support campus budgets

·       Developing and maintaining a training and development strategy for key maintenance skills and core competencies

·       Coordinating and Managing Vendor Managed Inventory strategy for the campus

·       Evaluating and Managing Infrastructure needs for the campus, including buildings, grounds, utilities, and environmental concerns

·       Developing, leading, and executing on multi-year strategies for Capital Projects to help the campus achieve long term capabilities and KPI’s

·       Participating and Leading the campus on all Capital Project scopes, development, submissions, and execution

·       Participating in yearly AOP planning and forecasted spending

·       Participating as a member of the Plant Leadership Team to achieve campus KPI objectives

 

Requirements

Qualifications:

 

Education

Bachelor's or Master's Preferred in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, Electrical Engineering or equivalent, Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent, Masters in Business Administration

 

Experience

5-10 years in Manufacturing Engineering or Production support role

3-5 years in a Maintenance support for a high-volume manufacturing campus

5+ years of Project Management experience

3+ years of Management experience

An equivalent in combination of education and experience will be considered

 

Knowledge

Microsoft Office Suite

Planning multi-year AOP Capital Budgets

CAD and GD&T Tolerances

Team Building and Employee Development

Maintenance Management Software

Vendor and OEM relationship management and development
