Overview

Dexter, a premier manufacturer and distributor of axles, suspension, brakes, doors, venting products, trailer parts and accessories, and towing components serving the commercial trailer, RV, heavy-duty, marine, agriculture, and manufactured housing markets, has an opportunity for a Administrative Assistant at our distribution facility located in Springfield, MO.

 

We are open for business during normal daytime business hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We are closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Our Customer Service Representatives rarely ever work on weekends.

Position Summary

Assist Branch Manager with the daily operations.

  • Coordinate activities of various departments.
  • Maximize office productivity through proficient use of appropriate software applications. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Analyzes and organizes office operations and procedures such as record keeping, time and attendance, personnel, and filing systems
  • Process data for inventory and accounts payable.
  • Perform daily deposits using established work practice.
  • Perform other tasks or duties as assigned.

Requirements

Position requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least 2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience. For success, the Administrative Assistant must be a team player, willing to take on additional tasks, organized and detail oriented. Must be courteous, professional, responsive to customer and sales staff, confidential, and able to work with minimal supervision.
