Position Summary

The position is located in Fremont, IN and reports to the Plant Manager.

 

The Manufacturing Engineering Manager’s primary function is to lead major manufacturing improvement projects and initiatives at the plant. The position is also responsible for upgrading manufacturing equipment and processes and improving material flow using Lean Manufacturing principals.

Requirements

 

Position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a comparable discipline and at least 3 years in an engineering management field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have previous experience working with production equipment, manufacturing processes, capital expenditure justification, preventative maintenance, and all aspects of supporting manufacturing operations.  Candidates must be creative, motivated, and capable of handling multiple projects in a structured and organized manner. Must also have strong leadership and communication skills.
