Position Summary

The Planning/Scheduling Supervisor will create, implement, and maintain new scheduling systems.


Schedule usage of production materials to ensure optimal
production levels.
• Monitor material supply flow and identify any shortages or
bottlenecks in usage.
• Identify and resolve problems relating to inventory.
• Forecast market challenges based on competitor analysis
and industry trends.
• Address issues regarding quality and production.
• Produce reports based on findings and performance of
production.
• Manage deadlines based on project and customer
expectations.

Requirements

Requires Bachelor’s Degree in Materials/Logistics Planning or a comparable discipline and at least 3 years related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access, and Outlook. MRP Planning experience required. Candidates must have attention to detail, problem-solving, decision-making skills, and knowledge of ocean and rail delivery lanes a plus. Must be able to read work instructions and other work documents, write production and quality information. Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills Expert Excel user (candidates will be tested). Ability to work well in a team environment.
